Card Organiser

It seems like ages since I posted any creations on here, the last few weeks have been quite busy!
Here’s my card organiser I made for my class yesterday. I’ve used Fall Flowers DSP and co-ordinating 12×12 cardstock for the pages. The cover’s made by glueing 2 sheets of cardstock together to make a sturdier cover, and the front is decorated using Live Your Dreams stamp set.

I typed up a list for anniversaries and their traditional gifts and placed inside the front cover. Now, my aim is to make cards for those on my birthday list and try not to miss any birthdays this year! My intentions are good, now if I can just get myself organised….!

The books are simple to make! Mine’s adapted from the Splitcoaststampsers tutorial at http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/resources/tutorials/card_organizer/

I used 3.5cm jointed rings to allow plenty of expansion on the spine once the pages are full with cards (well, that’s the plan!) I used jumbo eyelets on the covers to reinforce the holes.

This one’s in a different colour way to match the Afternoon Tea DSP. I managed to get 5 books out of 1 pack of DSP, and as the DSP is double sided, there are more options for coordinating paper with the cardstock for the pocket pages!
