Here’s one of the sweet little bags I made for my Autumn Mini Catalogue launch guests , which I promised to show you last week. It’s made by using the Stampin’ Up! Top Note die with the Big Shot, and a gusseted bottle bag! I also used the Stampin’ Up! Little Leaves die, and Vintage Vogue stamp set. These  dies  are exclusive to Stampin’ Up! and can be found in the new 36 page Autumn Mini catalogue! Just a quick hello before I “hit the sack” as it’s been a whole week since I’ve posted anything! Tonight I held my Autumn Mini Catalogue Launch, and I just had to share this card I designed for the Make & Take! I just love the Vintage Vogue stamp set, and combined with Cottage Garden DSP it’s so romantic and pretty!  For the base of the card I’ve used Pale Plum, and I’ve stamped the flowers in Rich Razzleberry and Pale Plum to coordinate. The leaves are cut with the Stampin’ Up! Little Leaves die in Certainly Celery cardstock. I used the large oval from the Ovals Original Dies, and stamped it with the friend stamp in Rich Razzleberry ink. I then stamped the same stamp in Pale Plum and trimmed around the “F”, and adhered it over the top of the  Razzleberry “F”. The ribbon is the new Polka Dot Grosgrain in Rich Razzleberry. Oh, and the tiny solid flowers are punched from the Trio Flowers Punch. For the launch I made some cute little coordinating baskets using the Top Note Die! My downline, Vicki Reed is holding a fundraiser to support the WA Bushfire Appeal. I held a stamping fundraiser in February of last year in support of the Victorian Bushfire Appeal, and we raised almost $2000. Applegarth was a gorgeous mid to late Victorian house in which my grandparents and my mum lived towards the end of the Second World War, in Whitstable, Kent, England.

Trade Exhibit Albany Show

Thank you to everyone who visited Vicki and I at the Albany Show on November 13 and 14! We were kept busy this year with lots of interest! Here’s a photo of our display  (complete with red fire extinguisher!)

We had a fantastic weekend for our Retreat! The weather was great, the venue was great, the food was great (even if I do say so myself!) and the company was great! Here’s a little about what we got up to….

After lunch of  yummy cold chicken and salad, we made a cute carry case to house our cards. It was a very warm day of 34 degrees in Denmark, and we got everyone to “put down tools” and go for a short walk to the waters edge to clear our heads and get some fresh air!  

Scrapbook in an Evening

Our accomodation in the A-Frame Chalet, and is nestled amongst 24 ha’s of native Karri, Tingle and Jarrah forest on the edge of the Wison Inlet, Denmark, approximately 45 minutes drive form Albany.

Projects over the weekend include Christmas Tags and Card, Stamp-a-Stack, 3D project, Scrapbook in an Evening and Tag Holder!
