Easter Basket

by cathy on April 5, 2009

We made these Easter Baskets at my catalogue launch yesterday. I modified a fries box pattern by omitting the cut out front and mirror imaging the high back. They’re very quick and easy to make. The handle is a 4cm strip of A4 cardstock and punched with the scallop edge punch, and a 1.5cm strip of DSP added. The bird is from the new Good Friends stamp set, and is inked up in Baja Breeze ink then “kissed” with the starburst style stamp from the same set which is inked in Pacific Point, before stamping on to Whisper White cardstock. The wing is made by outlining the rubber image with a marker, then stamping onto DSP and cutting out.
