Faux Patina Vintage Wallpaper Card

by cathy on October 15, 2012

I had a play with the Faux Patina technique just recently, and made this card as one of the techniqiue projects for both my stamp clubs this month. The technique is rather simple and super effective! Basically it involves putting whisper white card through an inked embossing folder (I used Crumb Cake), then sponging over Marina Mist, then Always Artichoke, and lastly Early Espresso. Then a randome swipe or two with a Versa Mark pad and sprinkle over gold embossing powder and heat set! Love the technique, and it makes a beautiful background piece for vintage style cards! Mmm, might just have to make a box next…..I think I’m finding my creative mojo once again!
