More samples

Here are some more samples, as promised, made using the uninked jumbo cartridges in two colours.

This card is made using the Leaves a la Carte wheel and Carte Postale stamp set. The colours are Always Artichoke and Bravo Burgundy.
This one’s using the So Swirly jumbo wheel, and Baroque Motifs stamp set.
For the Christmas card below, I used the All About Christmas wheel. I inked the jumbo cartridge using the metallic Encore re-inkers. The ink flows from the re-inkers easier if they are warmed against your body first – try putting them in a shirt pocket for a while before using.

To achieve the wavy effect, I “skewed” the wheel as I rolled it, then I trimmed, leaving a margin, and followed along the edge of the wave, and backed it with Metallic Gold cardstock. The star was made from On Board Trimmings and covered in Holiday Harmony DSP. I punched the silver star from Metallic Silver cardstock, using the Large Star Punch, and I inserted a round red rhinestone brad in the centre. I also daubed the edges using Old Olive ink, and tied a piece of wide Old Olive ribbon around the image before mounting it. The background was stamped using the same wheel with Versamark ink.

The 6×6 page is also done using the metallic

re-inkers and the So Swirly wheel. The label is made using Party Punch, one of the level one hostess sets, and punches.
So simple, yet so effective!
The picture is of my son, Tristan and Santa, taken when Tris was about 3 years old – he’s now 18!
