Wanted & Specialty DSP

by cathy on September 3, 2009

I just love the texture of the new Specialty Designer Series papers, and the beautiful finish it gives to projects! Here’s some from the Parisian Breeze pack made up with the Wanted stamp set. The best thing about using papers is the colour combination is already set for you! I made this card a few weeks ago for my friend Lynda’s birthday.

Hi Cathy
I like this card and I’d like to make one with my new Wanted stamp set.
Could you please tell me what you used for this card (if you remember) ?
Thank you.

Hi Kozue,
Thank you for the interest in my card -here’s how I made it and what I used:
For the base card I used Chocolate Chip cardstock, and the paper is from the now retired Parisian Breeze Designer Series Paper pack. I stamped the horses in Chocolate Chip ink on to Whisper White cardstock, starting on the right hand side and stamping off (without re-inking) to the left another three times. It’s then layered onto Baja Breeze and then Sahara Sand cardstock. The accent is made by stamping the motif in Choc Chip ink onto Sahara Sand and Baja Breeze cardstock, and I have used the Scallop Circle and 1 3/8″ Circle punches, and an Antique Brass jumbo eyelet in the centre. I also tied a piece of string around the DSP, and used a sponge dauber to add a little colour to the edges of the white cardstock. Looking forward to seeing your creations!
